Key Aspect
This was a conservation project carrying out fabric repairs to a Victorian Grade A listed former mansion house within the Pollock Halls Campus currently used as office and conference facilities by the University. Works involved the indenting a large amount of new stone, repointing and dressing retained stonework, re-slating and refurbishment of existing roof pitches, new lead roofs, gutters and features, the restoration of cast iron and lead finials and external decoration.
All works were carried out in a manner carefully planned to allow the building to continue to operate.
