Martin Jarvie retires from Practice

Martin Jarvie, Edinburgh Managing Partner retires

The KLM Partnership today announces Martin Jarvie’s decision to retire from the Partnership, effective 31st October 2018.  Martin qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1976.  Prior to stepping down as a Partner in 2017, he was the Managing Partner in our Edinburgh office since 1996 and retires following a career spanning over four decades. 

David Alexander, a Senior Associate in our Edinburgh office will manage our Edinburgh office supported by Bob Connor, Partner, who will also spend some of his time in the Edinburgh office.  

Martin joined the KLM Partnership in 1996, when the Practice of Gibson & Simpson, established in 1890, joined the KLM Partnership bringing with it considerable experience in Education, Financial, Research, Housing and Historic Building Sectors.

Paying tribute to his contribution to the KLM Partnership, managing partner, Bill Hamilton, said: “Martin has been a loyal member of the team over the years and will be missed by colleagues and clients alike.  We wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement.”
