Martin Jarvie, Consultant

The KLM Partnership today announces Martin Jarvie’s decision to step down as a Partner from the Partnership, effective from 1st October 2017.  He will continue with the Practice as a Consultant.  Martin qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1976.  He has been the Managing Partner in our Edinburgh office since 1996.

David Alexander, a Senior Associate in our Edinburgh office will manage our Edinburgh office supported by Alastair Nicoll, Partner. 

Martin will continue to support David with marketing and advice on the office and work related projects to ensure a smooth transition.  Martin will also see to completion a number of projects he is currently actively involved with, and will also participate in new projects as they come on-stream.

Martin joined the KLM Partnership in 1996, when the Practice of Gibson & Simpson, established in 1890, joined the KLM Partnership bringing with it considerable experience in Education, Financial, Research, Housing and Historic Building Sectors.

Paying tribute to his contribution to the KLM Partnership, managing partner, Bill Hamilton, said: “Martin has been a loyal member of the team over the years.  His experience in these sectors will continue to be valued by the Partnership and clients alike in his new role as a consultant.”
