Jim Bruce

Jim is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 33 years’ experience in the Construction Industry providing general Quantity Surveying, Cost Consultant, Project Management and Employer’s Agent services to deliver projects from initial concept through to final account agreement.

In addition Jim has over 21 years’ experience in providing CDM Regulation advice and currently can act as Principal Designer as well as CDM Adviser to Client and/or Principal Designers.

Jim joined KLM Partnership in January 2013 a Senior Quantity Surveyor / CDM Coordinator and has been primarily involved with delivery of Quantity Surveying services on University refurbishment projects, Employer’s Agent for new Housing and Principal Designer / CDM Adviser on a wide variety of private and public sector projects.

Prior to joining the KLM Partnership Jim has been mainly in Private Practice, both site and office based, with a period as Project Manager for a Shopfitting Contractor.  He has dealt with a wide range of public / private sector contracts including housing regenerations, retail / commercial developments including supermarkets, historic buildings, etc as well as Electrical and Mechanical Measured term Contracts.
