James M Low

Jim is the General Managing Partner for the Practice and as such is tasked with ensuring the efficient management of the Practice. Jim is also Partner-in-Charge of the Project Management service of KLM and responsible for developing the Strategic Property Consultancy wing.

In parallel with this role, Jim accepts specialist secondments and commissions for Clients covering a wide range of Project Management, Client Advisor and Project Sponsor duties. In addition Jim facilitates or carries out Option Appraisals for outline and full business cases, together with Risk or Value Management exercises.

Experience

Jim is a highly experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Client Advisor/Project Sponsor with wide range of experience gained since joining the Industry, and the Practice in 1980.

A Partner since 1991 Jim has been involved in a wide range of building sectors but has predominately focused on the Oil and Gas, Security and Education markets.

In addition to being a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors for both Quantity surveying and Project Management Faculties, Jim holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is a Member of the Association of Cost Engineers
